What's up, I'm Marzy (not my real name) the webmaster. My favorite animals are leopard sharks and ladybeetles, and my teeth are pretty wonky.
My ethnicity is Nigerian-Ghanaian-American (a lot to say), so you KNOW I get good food.
I suck at sharing things about myself, bear with me lovelies.
- 2. How long have you been making websites?
- This is my first, I started it 2025.
- 3. And what got you into the hobby?
- I've always been interested in coding, I just found out about neocities on youtube and decided to try it out.
- 4. What kind of website are you most interested in?
- Informational websites, and ones with games :D
- 5. What's your workflow? Do you plan your websites out thoroughly or do you come up with the design as you go along?
- I jumped headfirst into website and went with the tide/planetary ring.
- 6. Please link to your biggest inspirations.
- sci-fi/fantasy, whimsy twee, myself, history, dystopian sci-fi to be specific, clowns, the random creative angelinos and new yorkers living their day to day, and youtube vlogs
- 7. What's your favourite part about making websites?
- I like the challenges that come with making a website, and the freedoms you get with it.
- 8. And the thing you struggle with the most?
- Oh, too many. But one is trying to figure out how to make my website look normal on other computers besides my laptop.
- 9. Do you keep the same layout on all of your pages? Or do you use different ones?
- I have the same theme, but not the same layout per se.
- 10. How confident are you with CSS?
- I know my way around hexadecimal colors, but that's about it honestly.
- 11. Do you know how to correctly use <dl>?
- uh... well, this is my first time using it, so I'd say no.
- 12. What is your favourite HTML element?
- My favorite is <br>. It's the one I use the most.
- 13. If you're making a new web page from scratch, what is the first thing you do?
- Make sure the theme is actually good because this website used to be butt-ugly, oh boyyyy.
- 14. Do you know JavaScript?
- I used to on like, Khan Academy but I'm going to relearn it cause I don't remember anything and this website is in dire need of assistance.

- I don't even know what that is, so no. #livinginblissfulignorance
- 16. Does your website have a theme that you stick to?

- 17. Are you more focused on content or design?
- Oof, that's a hard one. I'd say I care about both equally.
- 18. Do you own a domain name? If not, would you ever want to?
- I don't... think so? This website is for funsiez I don't really think about stuff like that.
- 19. What do you think of nostalgia-focused or "retro" websites?
- They are pretty cool I like to surf on them when I'm boreddd.
- 20. Is your HTML valid? Do you even check?
- Idk bro. I'll see what's wrong if code gives me that tiny "x" but uhhh...

- very very fun gives personality

- 23. If you started over again, would you make something similar or completely different?
- similar-ish. same vibes but definitely change format/layout.
- 24. Are you envious of other people's websites?
- not really. I use other websites for inspiration and motivation, but I don't feel jealous. I'm not a jealous person in general, the last time I felt true jealousy was in preschool where one of my friends had a Hatchimal (elite ball knowledge if you know what this is) and I didn't.

- Both seem pretty good ngl maybe when I get an email I'll try out nekoweb for fun
- 29. How much server space would you estimate your main website takes up?

- 31. Do you prefer simple or highly visual websites?
- Both. Both is good.
- 32. Do you stick to certain colours? Do you do that on purpose, or is it your subconscious?
- The colors I use in my art fluctuates a lot.
- 33. Have you ever thought about quitting? Why?
- Nope.
- 34. Do you have many webmaster friends, or is it a solitary hobby?
- Pretty solitary. I don't think anyone my age right now is interested in personal websites.
- 35. Do people in your real life know about your website?
- My parents do, but they don't really look at it (I like it that way)
- 36. Do you update your website very often? How often is "very often"?
- It depends on whether I have new ideas for it, or whether I have a lot of school work to do, all that stuff.
- 37. And the overall design, do you change that much? Why or why not?
- Changed the overall design yesterday (6/30/26), will not do it again my wrists hurt for a bit. also happy fourth of july even if ur not american
- 38. Is your website more you-focused, hobby-focused, or outside world-focused?
- i focus on all three equally

- nope

my current occupation is surviving the american school system but once i escape i would like to be an aeronautical engineer (specifically rocketships)

- i dont know how to answer this question

- YES. i listen to so many artists i cant list them all but you can look at my music page to get an idea

- one, maybe two later on though

- i contruct a persona but my persona is closely linked with me so it's practically me atp

- yes

- good format. not really striving for it because i dont have the energy to change the entire website format.

- PLEASE, PLEASE plan your website looks beforehand. also just because you have a favorite color does NOT because it looks good as a background

- I hard code ALL of it because im tuff.
